Laurie’s first big break came in 2001 when she landed a roll in the National Tour of "Swing!", which she kept for 1 year. Between 2002 and 2004 she performed in numerous New York productions, including Our Sinatra, My Fair Lady, Grease, and Oliver. And of course, Laurie especially enjoyed performing in Mamma Mia! both on Broadway and in the National Tour from 2003 to 2007. Some of Laurie’s favorite productions to watch include Once on this Island, Sunday in the Park with George, A Little Night Music, and Les Miserables (she has always desired to play Fantine). She also adores Jazz and Swing music, and would love to record an album of Standards.

Aside from music, Laurie absolutely loves John’s Pizza in NYC, a really good cheese burger, and brownie sundaes. She also enjoys watching movies, her favorites being National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and Braveheart. She was especially excited to see the movie version of Mamma Mia, since she is a huge fan of Meryl Streep, whom she felt "ROCKED." Laurie is currently enjoying married life with her husband, Don Noble. The two met while on tour with Mamma Mia in 2003, when Don held the role of Sam. They were married on March 17th, 2007. Laurie continues to persue new opportunities, and appreciates all the love and support she receives from friends, family, and especially fans.
